John Amos’ daughter makes stark revelation about her father’s death: she has ‘a lot of questions’

Shannon Amos, first-born of actor John Amos, made a surprising revelation about the death of her father, famous for his appearance in series such as ‘Two and a Half Men’.

On Tuesday, October 1, Kelly Christopher ‘KC’ Amos, the interpreter’s son, announced the death in a statement to TMZ.

“It is with deep sadness that I share with you that my father has passed away. “He was a man with the most noble heart, a heart of gold, and he was loved all over the world,” she said.

He explained that the “Good Times” star also died at the age of 84 on August 21 of natural causes in Los Angeles, California.

John Amos’ daughter did not know her father had died

Hours after the news broke, Shannon Amos said she was unaware of her famous father’s death.

“I am at a loss for words… Our family received the sad news that my father, John Allen Amos Jr., passed away on August 21st,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

“We are devastated and have many questions about how this happened 45 days ago, learning from the media, as many of you have,” he said.

He argued that “this should be a time to honor and celebrate” the late celebrity: “But we are struggling to navigate the wave of emotion and uncertainty surrounding his death.”

“Still, there is some peace in knowing that my father is finally free. “My family and I deeply appreciate the outpouring of love, calls and texts,” she said.

Finally, the television and film producer asked netizens to keep their loved ones “in their thoughts and prayers.”

John Amos accused his daughter of ‘abuse’

According to People, Shannon Amos accused her brother “KC” of committing “elder abuse” against their father in mid-2023.

However, in July of the same year, John Amos accused his daughter of the same crime through a video posted by Christopher on social networks.

“She would be the prime suspect, if you can put it that way. “I don’t know if that’s the right term or not, but she’s what I would attribute the abuse they suffered as an elder,” he said.

In December, in an interview with the media, he denied the accusations: “Right now, it’s a controversial thing, but it doesn’t matter what you can read in the newspaper…”.

“Suffice it to say that we’re still a family and we love each other, and that’s what matters. She is his sister [‘KC’]that is, my daughter, my first daughter. “I love her,” he said.
