Tony Buzbee, who represents 120 victims, says the companies that facilitated the crimes will be revealed later this week; The rapper’s lawyer denies all charges
Furthermore Sean “Diddy” Combsother major celebrities should also be sued for helping the rapper carry on and hide sexual violence. This is what attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents 120 victims of the Diddy case, revealed to TMZ on Monday. Diddy is arrested in the United States on charges of sex trafficking, assault and criminal conspiracy: the rapper’s lawyer denies all charges (see below).
Buzbee said “several celebrities that everyone has heard of” will be sued by his law firm in the coming weeks. It gave some celebrities the chance to pay a large sum of money to avoid a public lawsuit, which the lawyer said has already been accepted by some of them.
Celebrities who will be implicated include those who participated in the attacks, helped cover up the case or went to parties where they knew people were being drugged and raped and remained silent. P. Diddy promoted the “freak-offs”, sexual marathons involving copious drug use and forced sex.
According to Buzbee, the names of the companies that allegedly facilitated the crimes will be revealed later this week. The lawyer also told TMZ that one of the rapper’s victims is a 9-year-old boy and that he has received “thousands of calls” from people claiming to have been victims of P. Diddy.
The rapper’s attorney, Erica Wolff, also gave an interview to TMZ in which she denied all recent allegations against the rapper, including those involving minors, saying the allegations are “false” and “defamatory.”
Understand the case
Diddy is accused by the US government of numerous sex crimes over the past three decades. The federal prosecutor also accuses him of sex trafficking and extortion, as well as being the commander of a criminal organization since 2008 in which he not only attacks but also traffics women.
Considered a hip-hop mogul, Diddy is one of the biggest names in the American music industry. He is a rapper, record producer and businessman and has had a major influence on the stardom of artists such as Usher, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and The Notorious B.I.G.
Diddy’s social circle is trendy, having been associated with several powerful industry figures over the years, such as Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Ashton Kutcher, Naomi Campbell and Leonardo DiCaprio. In the criminal indictment, the U.S. government says the rapper hosted alcohol- and drug-fueled parties at luxury hotels that lasted for days. Nicknamed “freak-offs”, the parties, described as “sex marathons”, featured several industry celebrities in the early 2000s.
