Chiquibaby is going through difficult times due to the death of her mother, Mrs. María del Socorro Himonidis.
The co-host of Siéntese Quien Pueda! He announced the death via a message on his Instagram account on the evening of October 7.
“It is with deep pain that I share with you that this year life surprised me with many wonderful things that happened to me, but it never prepared me to receive one of the worst news, the passing of my mother,” he said.
“I am devastated, shocked and full of sadness,” the Mexican communicator confessed in her post, which included several images of her with her mother.
Chiquibaby honors his mother after her death
In this same letter, Chiquibaby took the opportunity to talk about her mother’s qualities, as a tribute.
“‘Mama Koko’, as her grandchildren called her, was a happy woman, a strong woman and a woman who wanted the best for her children,” he noted.
“He instilled in us work, honesty, discipline and, above all, we will never forget where we came from,” he added.
Closing, she wrote: “Fly high ‘Coco’ give daddy Peter a big hug and rest in peace!” We will always love you!
In the comments of the publication, various friends of the communicator expressed their sensitive condolences.
“Mamá Coco was special, I remember her with great affection, always happy and talkative. I am very sorry for your passing. She will accompany you and be present in your heart. My prayers for your brother and for you, strength and peace,” noted Adamari López.
For her part, Francisca expressed, “I’m so sorry, Chiquibaby. I accompany you in your feelings. A big hug.”
What did Chiquibaby’s mother die of?
Although Chiquibaby did not comment on the cause of her mother’s death, the Las Top News portal contacted her manager, Richard Borjas, to ask him about what happened.
“We have no further information at this time, thank you,” he replied.
However, “unofficially”, the media reported that Mrs. María del Socorro “was not sick and that what happened was sudden and unexpected.”
“Chiquibaby’s mother had a heart attack, so the ‘shock’ was even greater for her,” they explained.
According to the website, the driver would be looking for a flight from Miami to Mexico to “travel to say goodbye to her mother” once she found out what happened.
