Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is now available in early access for players who purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate version during pre-order. The official launch will take place this Friday, October 11, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
Developed by Spike Chunsoft and harnessing the power of Unreal Engine 5, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero features fast-paced combat, large, destructible environments, and stunning graphics powered by next-generation platform technology to deliver the sequel to the Budokai Tenkaichi series that fans have been waiting for so many years.
The game also returns the franchise to its original Japanese nomenclature, as the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was titled Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! In the new game, players will be able to engage in action-packed gameplay, with nostalgic episodic battles, character customization and online multiplayer modes.
In Episode Battles, players relive iconic battles from the Dragon Ball anime, being able to play with characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, among others. Each campaign has its own duration and includes branching paths such as “What if”where players can use their skills and choices to unlock and experience new narratives exclusive to Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.
Custom Battle Mode allows players to create, play and share their own battles using a selection of unique characters, levels and items available. Players can try out a match imagined by the game developers or even create their own scenarios.
Finally, the game also features a variety of online and multiplayer modes, including online and split-screen battles. The game also features the World Tournament mode, where players can compete in various scenarios based on exclusive sagas and tournaments.
