Did ‘Diddy’ Combs Buy Famous Friends’ Silence Before Arrest?: What’s Known

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs could have struck a deal with several famous friends in exchange for his silence before he was arrested for allegedly committing sex trafficking and organized crime crimes.

The singer was arrested on September 16 on charges of kidnapping, drugging and forcing, sometimes through the use of firearms and violence, women to engage in intimate activities.

Since then, celebrities linked to him, including Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher and Jay-Z, have remained tight-lipped about whether they knew about his alleged wrongdoing.

Did Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Make Deals To Avoid Witnesses?

Amidst doubt over whether those close to Sean Combs knew about his alleged misconduct, rapper Mark Curry has revealed that the mogul would have made deals with associates.

“He gave all the artists their publishing rights back in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement so they wouldn’t talk about him,” he said on the Daily Mail’s “The Trial of Diddy” podcast on Oct. 9.

“I think I had some idea this was coming. He tried to quickly cover his tracks. It didn’t work,” he added.

According to Curry, Combs signed over the legal ownership of his music to various stars signed to his record label, Bad Boy, including Ma$e, Cam’ron, Faith Evans, The Lox, 112 and others.

The last time Mark claimed to have spoken to ‘Diddy’ was around September 2023, a month before his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura sued him for assaulting her during their relationship.

It indicates that it was then that the businessman made his strategic move, which was then applauded by many in the industry.

Did Mark Curry Make A Deal With ‘Diddy’ Combs?

After his remarks, Mark Curry was questioned by show owner Marjorie Hernandez if he made a deal with Sean Combs.

“Diddy can’t tell me not to do anything because ‘we had a contract when we started the business and it said it was going to help me boost my career.’ That didn’t work,” he replied.

“So now, whatever other deal you have for me, I’m avoiding that too,” he added, apparently detailing the refusal he gave his former boss when they spoke.

He pointed out that “as soon as” he regained the copyright of the songs he wrote, he “got rid of it with a stroke of the pen”: “I don’t want it”.

So far, Combs’ legal team has not commented on Curry’s statements about the alleged settlements he would have reached.
