Liam Payne, former member of One Direction, died this Wednesday, October 16, after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, La Nación newspaper reported.
According to initial reports by Todo Noticias, hotel employees said the British singer was apparently under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he jumped into the void.

Hours before he died, Liam Payne posted a photo that was said to have been taken at the CasaSur hotel where he was staying.
In the image shared on Snapchat, the singer posed with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, a 25-year-old influencer.
So far it is unknown if his partner was with him when he fell from the balcony.
He wasn’t as active on Instagram, however, months ago when he shared a picture saying goodbye to a loved one.
“Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock, it was a pleasure working with you,” he wrote to the director who was responsible for the creation of the documentary “One Direction: This Is Us” and died on May 23.

The singer was spotted at his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan’s show accompanied by his girlfriend at the Buenos Aires Arena on October 2.
He was also snapped on the streets of Buenos Aires wearing an Argentina national team jersey, as evidenced by a picture shared by his fans on October 3.
