Comedian Tirulipa (“Detetive Madeinusa”) was surprised by a raid by the federal police, who arrived at his home in Alphaville, Sao Paulo, with a search and seizure order. He had cash and luxury items seized as part of an investigation against Betzord, an online gambling company. Tirulipa has made commercials for the company and is under investigation for alleged crimes against the popular economy and criminal association.
Among the items taken, completed check sheets were seized in the amount of R $ 30,000, R $ 27,000 in banknotes, cell phones, residential lease, four calendars and data with information to be included in the comedian’s income tax.
In addition to him, lawyer and influencer Deolane Bezerra was also under investigation and assets were seized for the same reason earlier this week.
In a note released on Instagram, Tirulipa’s board says it has no connection with the company under investigation.
“The artist’s lawyer informs that he has no involvement with the company under investigation for alleged crimes against the popular economy and conspiracy. Furthermore, he is not investigated in the investigation.”
The text states that the comedian carried out only “a timely and unique disclosure action, in the year 2021, for the company under investigation” and that the items taken by the PF have been legally declared and are the result of his work. “They have already been returned to the artist, who continues to contribute to the investigations and makes himself available to the Justice”, concludes the note.
In addition to this information, Tirulipa recorded several videos on Stories, even crying to see her name involved in the police news.
