“Why does the world want us to live in constant competition? You know that this competition didn’t come out of nowhere, right? Telling us to believe that we have to slap ourselves, fight to have that place in the middle of the room”, began the actress in her outburst.
The artist also questioned the public’s interest in consuming content involving rivalry between women: “The worst thing is that we consume, we comment, we get involved in this type of news. Why do we do this? The fact that we click on that news about so and so is jealous of so and so, so and so doesn’t like so and so. It’s because we accept this ready-made idea anyway, without realizing that this only puts us in the same cycle, over and over again.
To put an end to these alleged intrigues, Paolla Oliveira said that women must start sharing and encourage more spaces for sharing results.
“After all, it’s not about them, but about each of us, right? What if we decided, for example, to think differently, to continually expand this space between us? Where I arrive, others could arrive. And who said we couldn’t pull out a chair for each other? Who said we can’t sit, laugh, share, have a beer and be happy?” he added.
