Teri Garr, famous actress who appeared in series like “Friends”, died this Tuesday, October 29, at the age of 79.
The singer also died a day after the first anniversary of the death of “sit com” star Matthew Perry, who died from “the acute effects of ketamine” by drowning in his home’s hot tub.
The star’s publicist, Heidi Schaeffer, told The New York Times and The Hollywood Reporter that she succumbed to complications from multiple sclerosis.
The death occurred at her home in Los Angeles, where Garr was “surrounded by family and friends” in her final moments.
The interpreter revealed, in October 2002, that she was diagnosed with this chronic and degenerative disease of the nervous system in 1999, after 16 years of symptoms and medical research.
In late 2006, he suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, for which he underwent emergency surgery. He was in a coma for a week, but was eventually able to walk and talk again.

After the news of Teri Garr’s death, Lisa Kudrow, the star of “Friends” with whom she shared the stage, praised her.
“He was a comedic acting genius who was, and is, a huge influence on me and I know I’m not alone in that. “I feel very lucky and grateful to have been able to work with her,” she told People.
In the program, the late artist played ‘Phoebe Abbot’, the long-lost biological mother of ‘Phoebe Buffay’, played by Kudrow.
Garr made her debut on the show in episode 25 of season 3, 1997, titled “The one at the beach”, in which mother and daughter finally meet.
It also appeared in the episodes “The one with the jellyfish” and “The one with the Phoebe’s uterus”, where the characters have problems and later reconcile.

Terry Ann Garr was born in December 1944 in Los Angeles, California, the youngest of three children of actor Eddie Garr and former Rockette Phyllis (Lind) Garr.
Teri began as a professional dancer right after graduating high school in a stage production of “West Side Story” in her hometown.
In addition to appearing in TV commercials, her film career began thanks to her dancing skills in films starring Elvis Presley, including “Fun in Acapulco” and “Viva Las Vegas.”
As an actress, she began in films such as “For Pete’s sake”, from 1966, “Head”, from 1968, and the series “Star Trek”, in which she played a 20th century secretary.
Throughout his career, Garr added to his credits: “The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour,” “The Conversation,” “The Player,” “Ready to Wear,” “Dumb and Dumber,” “Michael” , “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and “Young Frankenstein.”
