After being absent from the Rose Ball – one of the most beautiful and important events for the royal family of Monaco – Princess Charlene again appeared in public with her husband. But this time they came out not as representatives of the royal family, but as ordinary parents. Their children, seven-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella, attended a week-long summer camp at Seadventures, a project of the Yacht Club of Monaco. And last Friday, the best students were awarded – for their efforts, the children of Albert II Charlene received two medals each, which, of course, could not but cause pride in their parents. Albert II even personally filmed the rewarding of the kids on camera, while Charlene, not without admiration, watched what was happening from the side.

I must say that the school holidays of Jacques and Gabriella are very busy. Last week they came for an introductory diving and water rescue course at the Monaco Naval Academy, known as Ecole Bleue. And it seems that the love of water sports was passed on to them from their mother. Before her marriage to Albert II, Charlene was a professional swimmer. In the treasury of sports victories, Charlene is the medal of the champion of South Africa and fifth place in the team standings at the Olympic Games in Sydney.
