Singer Ludmilla and Brunna Gonçalves talk about the expected birth of the couple’s first child; find out everything about the news
Ludmilla AND Brunna Gonçalves surprised the audience by announcing that they are expecting their first child! The couple shared the news in style during Ludmilla’s tour, Numanice 3in Sao Paulo, last Saturday (9). Since then, one question has remained on fans’ minds: when will the baby be born?

The couple keeps the date of birth confidential
In an interview with Fantasticbroadcast on Sunday (10), Ludmilla and Brunna were direct in declaring that, for now, the exact date of the baby’s birth will remain secret.
“It’s something we still don’t want to talk about right now”Ludmilla commented, leaving the audience even more curious.
Brunna added her desire to keep this moment just between them: “Yeah, we just want to keep this moment to ourselves, so at least we can have something of our own, you know?”
Planned maternity
At the end of last year the couple had already publicly expressed their desire to expand their family. Motherhood, initially Brunna’s dream, also became Ludmilla’s desire throughout the relationship.
They opted for the ROPA (Partner Oocyte Reception) fertilization method, in which Ludmilla’s egg was fertilized with donor sperm and transferred into Brunna’s uterus. This process had a profound impact on both of us.
“I went to the pharmacy, bought several tests”remembers Brunna. “On the fourth day I took the test and it came back negative. On the fifth day I was alone at home when the positive result appeared. I waited for the blood tests to confirm before telling Ludmilla.” According to Brunna, the moment was emotional and changed everything for both of them.

Ludmilla talks about raising the child
Regarding the future of the family, Ludmilla highlighted love as the main basis of creation. She also shared a bit of her personal story to reaffirm the value of affection and female presence.
“I didn’t have a father present. I grew up with my grandmother and my mother growing up, wonderful women and warriors”she revealed, visibly moved.
