Drama on Globoplay: the first K-drama debuts on Globo streaming in December – and it’s a phenomenon with an actor from ‘The 8 Show’

According to information from the Outro Canal column of Folha de S. Paulo, Globo defined the drama as ‘The world of married people‘, an absolute hit of 2020, marking the beginning of the debut of Asian series on Globoplay, which promise to increase the popularity of streaming.

The launch is scheduled for December this yearalthough an official date has not yet been set. The good news, however, is that ‘O Mundo dos Casados’ will now arrive dubbed for Brazilian audiences.

The first drama to debut on Globoplay, ‘O Mundo dos Casados’ is based on the British series ‘Doctor Foster‘ and, in 16 episodes, follows the story of Ji Sun-woo (Kim Hae-ae), a successful doctor who also works as an associate director at a hospital.

Married to Lee Tae-oh (Park Hae), with whom she has a son, Lee Joon-young (Jeon Jin-seo), the doctor lives in a family worthy of a margarine commercial, but the marriage is shaken when Ji Sun- woo discovers cheating on your husband’s part.

To make the couple’s situation worse, another revelation the doctor receives is that the unfaithful man ended up getting help from mutual friends to hide the betrayal. Rebelled, she begins to seek revenge…
