This is a series of events for the end of this year! Backed by a five-star cast, fabulous sequences, and impressive stunts, Cat’s Eyes has set its ambitions high by offering audiences a grand adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo’s manga.
Audience record for Cat’s Eyes
Intriguingly efficient and well-paced, the eight-episode drama has already attracted thousands of viewers, even reaching an actual audience record, as revealed in a TF1 press release.
Thus, it recorded an audience share of 41% among 25-49 year olds, a record for a French drama since the launch of HPI four years ago on Channel One. This also applies to women under the age of 50, where the percentage rises to 43%. Suffice it to say, it’s a real success.
Seven days after the broadcast, the series was watched by 6.7 million viewers, and later by more than 1.6 million. This week, episode 3 drew 4.20 million viewers, while episode 4 drew 3.54 million viewers.
It is enough to confirm that the believers did not leave the small screen all evening. It’s a good audience to tune in to in the coming weeks, as the rest of the series is expected to see significant departures.
Cat’s Eyes, a series in association with Prime Video
One thing is clear, the bet was a success for TF1, who allocated a colossal budget to this project in collaboration with Prime Video. Does this mean season 2 is almost guaranteed? It’s too early to tell, but all signals seem to be green!
See you next Monday from 9.10pm on TF1 to discover the next two episodes cat eyes And reruns on TF1+ if you missed the series.
