Jojo Todynho revealed that he had received a proposal of R$ 1.5 million to support the candidacy of Lula during the presidential elections. During the podcast interview Parallel Brazilthe singer recounted the details of the approach. “They planned a lunch, they said it was work, but when I arrived that was it”he explained. Jojo rejected the offer, stating: “Sorry guys, that’s not going to happen.”

The singer also commented that this practice was not isolated. “Several people have received proposals, not just me. Many artists who have done political campaigns have made money”he revealed. The statement generated repercussions, especially due to the amount involved and the implications for public figures.

JOJO ACCUSES THE GOSSIP PAGES

“All the people who campaigned, the gossip pages that are attacking me, they have all the money to campaign”the right-wing influencer said, without providing evidence.

Jojo she also mentioned the gossip pages that, according to her, they received to promote the candidates. “If it was R$1.5 million for me, imagine how much they didn’t pay for others,” he stated. He stressed that his position is motivated by transparency and faithfulness to his beliefs.
