Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II, who already appeared in public a few days ago to award their 7-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella at the Seadventures summer camp, attended the 73rd Red Cross Gala, which took place in Monte Carlo. They were also joined at the event by the daughter of Princess Stephanie of Monaco, Camille Gottlieb.
Known for her impeccable sense of style, Princess Charlene wore a satin light blue Prada gown with sparkling floral appliqués, which she accessorized with Van Cleef & Arpels delicate diamond jewelry. As a contrasting accessory, she chose a shiny gray Judith Leiber clutch.

Note that Charlene returned to her royal duties relatively recently after a serious illness. Since April of this year, she began to attend public events, but the health of the princess is still a concern. For example, COVID-19 did not bypass her either – she contracted the virus in early June.
The princess left the country in February 2021 – she flew to South Africa, where she visited several nurseries and talked with wildlife advocates. But when the mission was completed, Her Ladyship was unable to return home. As Charlene later said, all because of the consequences after suffering an ear infection. Doctors for a long time forbade her long flights because of the pressure in her ears. Since then, Charlene has missed several important events, including the 10th wedding anniversary with the prince, as well as the opening of the Olympics in Japan. However, her husband and children visited the princess twice in South Africa. In November 2021, Charlene finally returned to Monaco, but a few days later she left the principality again. When asked by journalists, Albert II explained that his wife was “in a secret place” where she would “rest” and recover “from fatigue, including physical fatigue.”
According to a number of European media reports, which have not been refuted by officials, Princess Charlene received treatment at the Paracelsus Recovery, a closed institution located on the lake in Zurich. They provide anonymous and confidential treatment for drug, alcohol and other addictions caused by, for example, medications, eating disorders, and mental disorders.
