Silvia Pinal, the final farewell to “La Diva del Cine de Oro” from Mexico: the details

The remains of Silvia Pinal arrived at the Palace of Fine Arts, the highest cultural venue in Mexico, received with applause, to pay tribute to her and say goodbye to “The Diva of Mexican Golden Cinema”.

The funeral procession left the funeral home at 10:08 a.m. and was accompanied by a group from the International Confederation of Motorcycle Riders that traveled through the streets of Mexico City, where hundreds of people waved goodbye with handkerchiefs and white balloons. Behind their float were trucks carrying members of the Pinal family, including Sylvia Pasquel and Michelle Salas.

Sylvia Pasquel and Alejandra Guzmán, daughters of Silvia Pinal, Stephanie Salas, Michelle Salas and Giordana Guzmán, daughter of Luis Enrique, were the ones who took the first guard.

The emotional words of the family

Sylvia Pasquel was the first woman of the Pinal dynasty to dedicate a few words to him. Almost unable to speak because of crying, he said:

“Today we gather here to say goodbye to the greatest diva this country has ever given, for the entire Mexican public it is a loss, but for us her family leaves our beloved mother (…) Beautiful mother, God celebrates because “One of thy dearest daughters returns to thy bosom Fly high as thou hast always done, dear mother,” he concluded.

Alejandra Guzmán also took the microphone: “We were all together when she got over it, when she took her last breath, which I will always have in my heart because it is something she gave to me and to the whole family,” she said.

Michelle Salas, Silvia’s first granddaughter, and her two daughters, Michelle Salas and Camila Valero, also gave her a short farewell speech.
