Journalist and presenter Lucas Martins was found this Sunday, the first, after disappearing while hiking towards Itanhaém, on the coast of São Paulo. According to his family, he lost contact in the late afternoon of Saturday 30th.

In a note to Earththe Band reported that, having learned of the incident, it contacted the Secretariat of Public Security, the Military Police and the Fire Brigade, who immediately started the search.

Lucas and three other friends were located and safely rescued.

“The Gang expresses its gratitude to the officers who worked tirelessly to ensure a positive outcome,” the broadcaster said.

The journalist is known to the public as one of the hosts of the Brasil Urgente program. Additionally, he runs the podcast Pá Daki Pá Dilá.

On social media he presents himself as an ultramarathon trail runner, used to covering more than 70 km in this sport. The profile also features several videos recording his training routine and participation in competitions held in forest areas.
