In an exclusive interview with Contigo!, Davi Quaresma, one of the new bets of the pagodas, analyzes the results of his musical journey
At just eighteen years old, Davide Quaresma is already considered the new promise on the pagoda scene, enchanting not only the public, but also the veterans of Brazilian music! In an exclusive interview with With you!the singer recalls important moments in his career and reveals who his biggest inspiration is in his career.
The singer and composer gained national prominence when 4 years ago, in 2020, he participated in the program Sing with me, little girl and won over all 100 jurors. Davi Quaresma remembers when he discovered his passion for music.
“I think it was actually when I was five. I remember I had a guitar that was a little old, it didn’t even have the right strings. My family also encouraged me a lot. I played in church and it was really important to me. When I was 12 years old, that’s when I started playing professionally”, Remember.
Regarding his references in the music scene, the artist highlights that his greatest inspiration is the singer Ferrugem. Davi clarifies that it was thanks to the owner of the shot I deleted it for everyone, who had his first contact with the pagoda.
“In the pagodas today there are great references. I can say that my greatest is Ferrugem because he was the boy who I discovered as a reference both for his voice, I really like his singing style, but also because he was the first pagodeiro that I saw it. I said: ‘fuck, I want to be like this guy'”, declares.
Davi points out that he is inspired too Dilsinho and in other references on the international scene: “There’s Dilsinho, who is a guy who is part of my history as a musical and artistic producer. I also have great references from the outside, I like Justin Bieber. I take a bit of all this and try to include it in my work today “he concludes.
