‘Pepillo’ accuses Silvia Pinal’s daughters of not receiving her ashes: ‘It was in a restaurant’

Juan José ‘Pepillo’ Origel, who was a friend of Silvia Pinal, assures that the family of the late artist did not come to receive her remains.

The communicator, who shared days ago that he was able to say goodbye to the protagonist in a call, says that Alejandra Guzmán and Sylvia Pasquel would prefer to go to a social gathering.

Did Silvia Pinal’s family not receive her ashes?

On December 3, “Pepillo” Origel went live on his Instagram account. There he dealt with the issue forcefully.

“At the time of the cremation, no one from the family was there, the only one was Efi,” he said, referring to Efigenia Ramos, Silvia Pinal’s assistant.

According to the reporter, she was the one who “gave the ashes” and took the time to transport them to the producer’s residence.

“They took them to Mrs. Pinal’s house and there, in the pool, where there is a shell, they put the ashes and the photos that were in the tribute. There he made the altar and all that,” he explained.

On the supposed reason that the relatives of the “Last Diva of the Mexican Golden Cinema” did not do this work, the presenter commented:

“The daughters were in a restaurant with some guests, who came from Monterey, and they were there, so they didn’t receive the ashes.”

Origel said he did not know “what they will do” with the ashes, but Ramos had already informed where they would be taken in the future.

“At the Panteón Jardín, but they haven’t told me when they’re going to get them or anything,” he said in an interview with journalist Berenice Ortiz.

He also said that for now Doña Silvia’s remains will remain in her famous mansion, near the pool.

‘Pepillo’ Origel says why he didn’t go to the Silvia Pinal tribute

In his ‘live’, ‘Pepillo’ Origel also revealed that ‘a lot of people’ had ‘criticised’ him for not attending the posthumous tribute to Silvia Pinal at Bellas Artes on Saturday 30 November.

“First of all, I want to tell you that you did not invite me to anything, under any circumstances,” he argued about the reason for his absence from the event.

“I saw that Sylvia Pasquel invited her friends, sent them invitations: she did not send me anything. But, of course, I had already imagined it,” he said.

In his opinion, the interpreter “already abandoned my friendship” and “is intimate” with Iván Cochegrus, whom he “cannot stand”.
