Jamie Foxx took advantage of his new Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was…”, to finally reveal what happened to him. After a medical emergency on the film set, he spent four months in hospital; 20 days of them in an unconscious state.
The comedian confirmed that he had suffered a brain haemorrhage which resulted in a stroke. “I had a bad headache and asked for an aspirin for my son. I quickly realized that when you have a medical emergency, your children don’t know what to do. Before I could get the aspirin, I passed out. I don’t remember anything in these 20 days,” the comedian shared.
