Antonio Pérez Garibay, a friend of Luis Miguel, spoke again about the alleged upcoming music debut of the eldest son the singer shares with Aracely Arámbula, Miguel.
On December 8, the pilot’s father “Checo” Pérez told journalist Inés Moreno that the 17-year-old is reportedly starting his artistic career.
“‘Micky’ Junior is coming on really strong next year, it’s his launch in Europe worldwide,” he expressed during the chat.
“I’m sure ‘Mickey’ will outshine mom and dad in singing,” he added, without elaborating.
Will Luis Miguel support his son to become a singer?
Days after his stunning revelation, Antonio Pérez Garibay denied he was the one behind Miguel Gallego’s alleged start in the middle.
“Not at all. I’ll support like a grandpa, but I’m not related. The child will come of age next month,” he said in an interview with “De Primera Mano” on December 11.
With this clear, he stated that “the decision” on whether the young man will become an artist “will be made” by Luis Miguel and Aracely Arámbula.
In this regard, he recalled that “to get where he is”, the interpreter of “La unconditional” had the help of his father, the late Luisito Rey.
For the same reason, he believes, it could also be the case of Miguel, and even Daniel, the youngest of the former couple’s children.
“There are moments [en los] which is necessary. I believe that today children deserve support and here is their “grandfather”, he said.
“If they don’t need me for anything anymore and they don’t want to talk to me or look at me, then they have two wonderful parents, they have ‘Mickey’ and Araceli,” he added.
Pointing out that they are still minors, Pérez indicated that he cannot “speak beyond” the boys, which he described positively.
“Luis Miguel and Aracely’s genes have created two miracles, I’m sure [de] that Mexico and the world will be very proud of ‘Mickey’ and ‘Danny,'” he concluded.

After it emerged that Miguel was reportedly ready to follow in the footsteps of his father Luis Miguel, another one close to him, Rafael Herrias, confirmed that he is talented.
“I know he likes to sing, but I still don’t know if there is anything professionally,” he said, “Sale el Sol” reported, “what he taught me on his phone, yes, he sings well, yes.”
