‘Harry’s crazy’: Prince’s friends were against his relationship with Meghan Markle

A few days before the official release, The Times published an excerpt from biographer Tom Bauer’s Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors, which is candid about the relationship Sussex with the royal family and inner circle.

From the text, we learned that after meeting Meghan Markle in 2017, Prince Harry’s 16 friends, with many of whom he studied at Eton College, were by no means enthusiastic about the duke’s chosen one. Some considered this relationship “crazy”. However, on the part of Megan, the hostility was mutual.

Their distrust of Meghan intensified, and the feelings were mutual. Megan didn’t like his company either. Their jokes and attitude to the world seemed unacceptable to her, writes the biographer.

Megan reacted too painfully to the witticisms of Harry’s friends about sexism, feminism and transgender people, which caused misunderstanding among the guys. The prince’s entourage felt that Megan simply lacked a sense of humor, and Harry literally “went crazy” once he decided to connect his life with such a woman.

Note that Prince Harry’s memoirs are now being prepared for release. In the book, the Duke is expected to reveal provocative details of his relationship with the royal family. Harry has been known to have been collaborating with Pulitzer Prize-winning ghostwriter John Joseph Mehringer Jr. for a year now, helping Harry with the writing. Rumor has it that Her Majesty, Prince Charles and Prince William are shocked by the Duke’s intentions to turn his life inside out, and royal experts warn that a potentially scandalous memoir could burn all the bridges between Prince Harry and Buckingham Palace.

In addition, the Sussexes will film a reality show about their lives as part of a $100 million deal with streaming giant Netflix. The Sussex Archewell Public Foundation has not confirmed this information, but eyewitnesses are sure that the couple has already hired a film crew – last September they were accompanied by their own operators at the Global Citizen Live event. The documentary series about the Sussexes under the working title “At Home with the Duke and Duchess” will be directed by American director Liz Garbus.
