Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are apparently not considering a permanent divorce, despite ending their marriage of less than two years.
The former couple were caught interacting last week after going to see their respective daughters, Finn and Em, perform in a school play.
According to the Daily Mail, the duo spoke while waiting for the teenagers to leave the scene in Los Angeles.
JLo and Ben Affleck ‘are still connected’
Following said reunion, on December 19, Page Six reported that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reportedly want to stay together.
“They have every intention of being in each other’s lives, despite not being romantically involved,” a source said.
“Ben and Jennifer stay connected and communicate when it comes to their kids,” she added.
The actor shares Fin, Violet and Samuel with Jennifer Garner. The “On the floor” singer, for her part, had Emme and Max with Marc Anthony.
After ‘Bennifer’ rekindled their romance in 2021, the couple formed a bond between their children. In 2022, after getting married, they finally created a blended family.
The “Selena” star, TMZ reported, filed for divorce last August, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, which reportedly happened in April.
Although their marital relationship didn’t work out, the aforementioned insider assures that López and Affleck have a “mutual respect” for each other that “isn’t something that disappears” overnight.
“Obviously things weren’t the same, but they have a lot of history,” he said of the supposedly unbreakable bond between them.

Delving into the alleged situation between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, the “insider” pointed out that Fin, Emme, Max and Samuel “attend the same school, so it’s possible” the exes “spend time together.”
“They remain friendly whenever they see each other. “They remain close to their children and, although they don’t have a co-parenting relationship, they feel like a blended family in many ways,” he concluded.
