Actor and director Allan Souza Lima opens his heart and gets emotional when talking about depression and burnout

The actor and the director Allan Souza Lima he made a strong outburst while participating in the program Uncensored. The celebrity recalled the depression and exhaustion he faced while recording the second season of Cangaço Novo, a series on Prime Video.




The artist said he identified so much with the character of Ubaldo that he “freaked out”. “That character is me. The second season was very painful. I was sinking. There were days when, in silence, I woke up crying from pain and loneliness. I knew my responsibility, I got up and went. I put on sunglasses and I pretended nothing happened, until the day I fell and had to ask for help”he began.

And he continued: “In the midst of all this I have experienced very complicated situations. It is very difficult when people look at you, they know that you have fallen and you say: ‘I am naked and without armor, I can’t protect myself now’. This was very painful for me . People are worried.”

Allan Souza Lima reveals conversation with therapist

Allan Souza Lima explained the details of the conversation he had with his therapist. “I came to Rio, I had a burnout. Situations erupted. Mind starts to break down from exposure and all… And I’m a private person at this point. I asked my therapist for two sessions and I arrived crying,” reported.

“My first sentence was, ‘This character was so close to me that it destroyed me. Not even a child. I think this character really saved you.’ I remained silent, processing all of this and crying like a baby, but with relief !”underlined the influencer’s ex-boyfriend Rafa Kalimann.
