Don’t do it, don’t do it on France 2: Did you spot this reference to a famous sci-fi movie?

Bouleys and Lepics return to France 2 this Wednesday, December 8 during the broadcast of a new double episode of Fais pas ci called “We are going to walk on the moon”.

Lepiks and Buleys travel to the moon

In this part, like the others, written by Anna Jaffer and Jeanne Bizo and directed by Alexandre Castagnet, we meet the Bull and Lepik families five years after they left, during the first Christmas after their imprisonment.

A lot of time has passed, the children have now left the nest and are living. Parents are getting old and struggling for a new life. Fabien (Valérie Boneton) has started writing erotic novels, while Renault (Guillaume de Tonquedec) is depressed after he retired early.

On Bull’s side, Dennis (Bruno Salomone) is still unemployed, and Valerie (Isabelle Gelinas) has become a conspiracy theorist. To help give their lives a new meaning, the children decide to register their parents in a big competition organized by the European Space Agency.

Fabien, Renault, Valérie and Denis will participate in an experimental protocol designed to train non-professional citizens to go to the moon. And against all odds, they are chosen for the mission…

A reference to a famous science fiction film

Don’t Do It Don’t Do It In the second part of the episode, while the whole team is in the space shuttle that will take them to the moon, Valerie has a dream that is unusual to say the least.

Danny is stuck in the toilet after eating. Valery is sure that he was poisoned. That’s when it comes out convulsive. As her comrades lie down on the table, an alien emerges from its stomach, spraying Valerie with blood.

If this scene is harmless to many people, fans of sci-fi movies will probably notice the reference to the iconic alien scenario of the eighth passenger.

In this scene from Ridley Scott’s film, Officer Kane (John Hart), who is attacked by some kind of non-man, also sees a creature escape from his stomach. A hint that director Alexandre Castanieti fully endorses.
