Family, friends and fans of Dulce gathered on the afternoon of December 27 at the Basilica of Guadalupe to say goodbye to the Mexican singer and actress, who died on December 25 in a Mexico City hospital of lung metastases.
The mass, charged with emotion, was a tribute to his life and career, marked by hits such as ‘Your doll’ and ‘Lobo’.
Dulce’s ashes were placed in a heart-shaped urn at the foot of the statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe and received by those present with applause.
During the ceremony there was applause and mariachi music creating an atmosphere of nostalgia.
Dulce’s daughter, Romina Mircoli, was responsible for carrying her mother’s ashes to the altar.

Among those present were close friends of the singer, figures from the artistic world such as her inseparable friend Rocío Banquells.
“It’s not easy. When you have your grandson who is so young, your daughter. Dulce loved Our Lady of Guadalupe, how good that her family gave us the opportunity to be with her in such a wonderful place.”
Denise de Calafe was also present to say goodbye to her “companion”.
“Dulce was my friend, my partner, an extraordinary woman, honest, always direct with the press. I want her to be remembered as a voice from Mexico that took her to many places. I went to the piano and wrote a symphony called ‘Sweet’ which came from my heart.”
Ariana was another of the singers and friends of the ‘Heridas’ singer who showed their love and admiration to the masses.
Fans were also present, who brought inscriptions and photos in honor of the singer.
The mass ended with a moving round of applause to bid Dulce farewell amid cheers and words of encouragement.
Romina Mirkoli thanked the media for being on the lookout for her mother and announced that she would soon make a statement.
