Family, friends and fans of Dulce gathered on the afternoon of December 27 to say goodbye with a mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, to which the singer was very devoted.
In attendance Romina Mircoli, the actress’s only daughter, was seen very touched by her mother’s passing and the affection shown to her by people at the event.
New details on Dulce’s death
Presenter Sugey Ábrego said, at the end of the emotional Eucharist, that Romina shared some details of the singer’s death.
According to his report, he said that the actress had a large percentage of the cancerous tumor stuck to her lung removed.
“The surgery was done where 80 percent of the tumor could be removed and Dulce was going to start these radiation and chemotherapy treatments,” he told the “Todo Para La Mujer” radio show.
He also noted that he had the “death of justice”.

As a representative of the National Association of Interpreters, Sugey Ábrego stayed close to the singer’s family to help them with paperwork and other situations. The presenter even told the press why Romina Mirkoli decided not to hold a funeral for her mother.

For his part, Iván Cochegrus, a close friend of Dulce, confirmed that because it is December things would be complicated to say a longer goodbye for the artist.

Sugey also shared that her deceased daughter Silvia Pinal contacted her to make future plans. He even comforted Romina in the face of the complicated situation she was going through.
