These were the last hours of Dulce’s life: she managed to celebrate Christmas before she died

Iván Cochegrus, a friend of Dulce, revealed what the last hours of his life were like, before he died on December 25 due to lung metastasis.

The Mexican producer shared that he was able to spend time with the singer the day before her death while she was in the hospital.

Iván Cochegrus, who was also very close to Silvia Pinal, explained that he celebrated Christmas, on December 24, with Dulce, his daughter, Romina Mircoli, and another close friend.

“He was only eating cod, really, and Roberto, his friend, brought him some salmon,” the actor told the camera of the YouTube channel “Talentos Latinos México.”

“The doctor, once he saw her so well, that she was responding to all the drugs, the carbohydrate-based diet, he authorized her, he said ‘she can eat anything’, because the enemy she had to defeat was food,” she said .

About the attitude the actress had during the meeting, he recalled: “She joked, got up, sat on the bed. […] “She wanted some coffee, we had dinner before Christmas, we made her happy.”

“He told me something that will remain in my heart for a lifetime, which is very important: yes, he was afraid,” he also said.

“I told her, ‘you are God’s warrior, don’t worry, you will get out of this situation.’ And he had faith,” he added.

Cochegrus explained that, by 5:00 p.m. that Tuesday, doctors deemed the “Lobo” interpreter to be doing “very well” after undergoing “pleuropulmonary corticosteroid” surgery.

“She was not thin,” he asserted, “that even I said, ‘I won’t come to-morrow, man,’ I’ll come to see you till Thursday or Friday,’ for I saw her in good health, and in great strength.”

“Well, all of a sudden fate plays something so hard on you, the way it did,” he said of the unexpected death.

Dulce’s daughter was “sorry” about what happened

In the same sense, Iván Cochegrus stated that Romina Mircoli had an emotional blow because her mother did not manage to survive.

“All I can tell you is that the sadness that invaded ‘Romi’ was very complex, as I was there on 24 [con] two close friends, including her servant, and that, the next day, in the morning, Dulce was gone, I couldn’t even believe it,” he said.

Both the first-born daughter of the artist, as well as her family and loved ones, said goodbye to her at the service held in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, on the afternoon of December 27.
