Prince George in the lens of Kate Middleton – a new portrait for the 9th anniversary

Prince William and Kate Middleton have not departed from the annual tradition and published a new portrait of their eldest son George on the occasion of his 9th birthday. The photograph was taken by Kate Middleton, as usual in Cambridge.

George is 9 years old! – reads the caption under the picture in the official blog of Kate and William.

It is well known that Kate is fond of photography, which is why she is responsible for the portraits of children – George, 7-year-old Princess Charlotte and 4-year-old Prince Louis – for all their birthdays, starting from 1 year old. By the way, she recently photographed the Duchess Camilla of Cornwall for Country Life magazine on the occasion of her 75th birthday.

For Prince George, this summer turned out to be very eventful: for example, last weekend he visited the Wimbledon tournament for the first time, and in September he and his brother and sister are waiting for a new school. The Cambridge couple are about to move from Kensington Palace to a new residence in Berkshire near Windsor Castle. It was previously claimed that the family would take over the Adelaide mansion on the Windsor estate, but so far this information has not been confirmed.
