The digital influencer Adriana Müller40 years old, wife of the footballer Lincoln Henry26 years old, reported suffering physical aggression AND xenophobia in the city of Porto, in Portugal. “I can’t believe it, I’ve always seen Brazilians say that this happened, but I didn’t believe it. And now it’s happened to me. They’ve always judged me to be Brazilian,” he added.
The athlete’s wife said his neck was scratched and his face had signs of physical assault. After the accident, she and her family went to the police station to file a police report, and also to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) from Porto.
In addition to Lincoln Júnior and Henrico, Adriana has two adult children from a previous relationship. Fran, his daughter-in-law, was in the car at the time of the accident and witnessed the situation up close. She tried to record the moment the woman attacked Adriana, but she couldn’t.
“He tried to break Fran’s cell phone. My husband tried to separate us, but I didn’t let him,” she said. According to Adriana, she feared that Lincoln Henrique’s involvement would make the situation worse, considering that he is a man and, as she explained, this could be used by the attacker against them.
“He said I was getting dressed [de forma] vulgar, that my breasts look like a cow. I saw it on the internet and couldn’t believe it. He constantly judged me because I was Brazilian. He said that we Brazilians have done wrong things. I still don’t believe it,” he said.
