The announcement was made through Celso Portiolli’s Instagram profile. The presenter, who recently “turned blue” behind the scenes on his showhe published an emotional video of his mother making the sign of the crucifix and, in the caption, he was moved with a painful farewell text.
“She went to live with God. [emojis de choro]. She lived 98 years, always taking care of all her 12 children and being treated with great love by all of them, including her grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and people close to the family. Everyone loved her very much because she was a simple and unique person”, wrote the presenter.
“I am grateful to God for allowing us to live with her for so long.. She lived 98 years in good health, lucid and surrounded by affection. Thank you, God. Welcome her with open arms, in the name of Jesus”, added Celso Portiolli. Last year, the host also had mourned the death of Silvio Santo.
