Júnior Vieira, known for his elaborate cakes, dies at 47
One of the greatest pastry chefs in Espírito Santo, José Onofre Vieira Juniordied in Sao Paulo of renal and liver failure on the 11th. The news was announced on social media this Sunday, the 12th, on social media.

Júnior prepared cakes and desserts for popular festivals and ceremonies in Espírito Santo. His work was valued by his admirers as ‘works of art’.
In a 2024 video, he recalled the difficulties at the beginning of his career, more than 20 years ago, in 2002, and the importance of persistence in his career. “Being grateful is remembering that nothing in this life can be achieved alone. There have been many difficulties, but I never thought of giving up”, he spoke.
