Daddy Yankee has revealed that his relationship with his daughter Jesaaelys has soured amid his legal battle with his wife and the young woman’s mother, Mireddys González.
On January 14, the former couple, whose divorce is pending, filed in the San Juan District Court to continue the resolution of the lawsuit filed by the reggaeton singer against the Puerto Rican to regain control of his companies, El Cartel Records and Los Cangris.
At this new court date, the businesswoman arrived accompanied by her first-born daughter, who, according to information from El Gordo y La Flaca, “at no time greeted her father.”

After leaving court, the Yankee dad was asked directly by the press about where his relationship with Jesaaelys currently stands.
“Right now she’s a little broken, you can see that, but she’s my queen,” he replied, according to statements reported by People en Español this Tuesday.
He clarified that, contrary to what was believed, he did interact with the “influencer”: “I saw her come in and I said to her, ‘God bless you, you are my queen.’
Despite the situation, the “Gasolina” and “Con calm” singer expressed confidence that things will be resolved in the future.
“I know this will bring us closer together soon, step by step. We are a family like everyone else, it has its ups and downs, but we will get through it,” he expressed.
Jesaaelys claimed to know ‘the truth’
On the penultimate day of 2024, Jesaaelys Ayala broke the silence on what’s going on between Daddy Yankee and Mireddys González.
Through a message on her Instagram stories, she expressed: “They were not easy days, not even the best Christmas…”
“Everyone [está] speaking without knowing, as if they knew, and they only know a distorted version,” he said.
In addition, he reflected, “These weeks have been very educational… seeing people’s true colors and what they are capable of.”
“I know my heart and I know the truth, which allows me to sleep peacefully at night,” the content creator concluded.
As of Wednesday morning, she has not commented on the alleged meeting with her famous father or how the legal battle between him and Mireddys González has escalated.
