“I made many more mistakes than Belo. We separated not for lack of love, but for lack of time. We had a very active relationship as a man and a woman, but we did not remain friends. We stopped sharing each other’s lives with each other, we drifted apart as partners,” he explained.
The sister also said that in the last months of their marriage they no longer shared their lives. “I’m very proud, instead of sitting down with him and saying, ‘You have to see this.’ […] I think I made many mistakes in this sense too, I regret it a lot. We separated, but there was love. There’s love, at least from me.”
He concluded his speech by saying that the two were immature in failing to resolve the problems. “We left everything until it got crazy and everyone went to a corner, he stayed with one, I stayed with another, then we started hurting each other because of the gossip. Yet we didn’t sit down and talk.”
