Several famous artistic skaters were on the American Airlines plane crashing by a military helicopter in the Washington area on the night of Wednesday, January 29th.
According to page six, the news was released from US skating, the artistic skating body in the United States, as those involved are part of their “community”.
In a statement, they explained that “many athletes, coaches and relatives have returned home from the national fight against development along with the United States artistic skating championships”.
“We are devastating from this indescribable tragedy and take the families of the victims very close to our hearts,” the organization said.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and publish more information as available,” the Bible concluded.
According to the medium, it is not clear how many athletes traveled to the aircraft, whose total crew was 60 passengers and 4 crew members.

For his part, Newsweek said Spencer Lane, a member of the Boston skating club, showed that he was on the American Airlines plane in a photo hanging on Instagram stories.
The artistic skater increased a snapshot in which the aircraft’s wing can see and above it, wrote “ICT → DCA”, the abbreviations of the airport from which flight 5342 took off and planning to land.
He even hung in his “animal” a series of photos that were apparently recorded during his stay at the aforementioned National Development Camp and expressed that they were “very happy”.

The Guardian, meanwhile, said that Russian state media have revealed that world champions and skating coaches, Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, were among the passengers.
Although Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman in Moscow, did not invite them to their names, he referred to the “bad news of Washington today” at a press conference via NBC News.
“We shouted and comforted the families and friends who lost our fellow citizens who died in this air accident,” he said.
The Russian TASS service also said that inna Volyanskaya, a coach at Washington’s artistic skating, who previously played “La Sernita” in the “Disney on Ice” show.
No survivors expected
Univision News said authorities already pointed out on Thursday that they are not expecting survivors of this accident.
John A. Donnelly, head of the city’s firefighters and medical services, explained that, so far, 27 corpses of the plane and one of the military helicopters had been recovered.
