The day of his death, Naya took a walk on a boat rented by Lake Piru in the United States, only in the company of his son. According to the boy’s father, the boy, who was only 4 years old at the time, wanted to throw a rope for his mother.

“Something he said many times is that he was trying to look for something to save her and had a rope there, but had a spider on the rope and was afraid to take it and play,” Ryan said to an interview with the magazine People. “I continue to reaffirm that this rope would not be long enough,” added the actor.

Ryan said Naya and Josey were swimming when the actress noticed that the boat was moving away from the wind. Ryan Dorsey recalled that he was in the parking lot of a market when he learned that Naya Rivera was entrusted, so he rushed to the lake. Josey, their son, was found to sleep and only on the boat. “If we had lost Naya and Josey, I don’t know how my life would continue. I don’t know what I would have done, but it wouldn’t have been good,” he concludes.
