Runway icon Kate Moss, 48, is famous for her stealth. It is she who owns the famous phrase “Never explain, never complain”, and she follows this motto throughout her modeling career. The day before, she gave a rare interview on the Desert Island podcast, in which she lifted the veil of secrecy and explained her sudden appearance in defense of ex-boyfriend Johnny Depp during his infamous trial with Amber Heard.

Kate, who appeared in court via video link from her home in the Cotswolds, personally denied rumors that the actor pushed her down the stairs in a fit of rage. The model stressed that she could not remain silent and decided to tell the truth.

I know the truth about Johnny. I know he never pushed me down the stairs. I had to tell my version, – said Kate.

Moss also mentioned designer John Galliano, whom she stood up for in 2011 when a French court found him guilty of anti-Semitic remarks.

I believe in the truth, I believe in fairness and justice. I know that John Galliano is not a bad person – he had problems with alcohol, and people turned their backs on him. A person is not himself when he drinks and says things that he would never say if he was sober.

Note that later, in early June, Kate and Johnny were spotted together backstage at a concert by guitarist Jeff Beck in London. Fans were so impressed by this fact that they immediately rushed to discuss on social networks the rare appearance of the ex-couple in public. Some even dared to suggest that the stars are together again, and it was the litigation between Depp and Heard that brought them closer. However, these conjectures did not receive further progress.

In the 1990s, Kate Moss and Johnny Depp were one of the brightest celebrity couples. They began dating in 1994 and broke up in 1997 after rumors of an imminent engagement, although they later appeared together once at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. The couple lived a rock and roll lifestyle and Depp was already in trouble with the law at the start of their relationship. On September 13, 1994, at 5:30 am, he was arrested for pogrom in a hotel room at the Mark Hotel in New York. The police detained the actor in a state of extreme intoxication, but Moss, who was with him, unlike the furniture, remained unharmed. The judge dismissed the hotel’s charges against Depp on the condition that he stay out of trouble for six months. Depp paid the hotel $10,000 in damages.

In a 2012 Vanity Fair interview, Kate Moss admitted she shed tears over her relationship with Johnny for years. She claimed that she always trusted him, and he, in turn, supported and understood her.
