Watermelon or melon?

Watermelon!

What was the most memorable concert (not Tesla Boy) in your life?

Concert of trumpeter Freddy Habart at the Moscow Jazz Festival, I was 10 years old and these were the first jazzmen from America whom I saw live. Unforgettably.

Are you vindictive?

Already less than it was, say, 10 years ago. I, like all Taurus, are touchy, but also quickly appeased.

How long does love live?

As long as you see the meaning in this love. There is no single deadline.

Can you call yourself a shopaholic?

I love to buy. I especially love bookstores. This is my meditation and therapy.

What was your last purchase?

Book by Diana Vreeland, autobiography.

Three things to do this summer…

This summer, please take care of yourself and help those who need it.

Do you often have dreams? Which last one do you remember the most?

Yes, now very often again. And I often have prophetic dreams. My Belarusian great-grandmother was a clairvoyant healer. Apparently it’s from her. I can’t talk about plots. I can only say one thing – by winter everything will be much better. I think you understand what I mean.

What song would you like to be the anthem of your life?

Different periods of life – different hymns. Now it’s John Lennon’s Imagine.

How will your concert at the Summer Stage be different from others?

For me, a concert is both a trip, and a collective meditation, and an exciting journey. And every time it’s different. There are no identical concerts. So everything will be like the first time.
