Recommended for ages 6 and up – in theaters July 27
once: Krypto, Superman’s super dog, faces a huge challenge: rescuing his master, who has been kidnapped by Lex Luthor and his evil guinea pig Lulu. For this, he will have to unite with a gang of kind-hearted but rather clumsy animals.
French voices of crypto and super animals
In the original version, Dwayne Johnson (Krypto), Kevin Hart (Ace), John Krasinski (Superman), Keanu Reeves (Batman), Kate McKinnon (Lulu), Diego Luna (Chip), Natasha Lyonne (Merton) and Marc Maron (Lex Luthor) lending their voices to crypto and super animal heroes.
On the French side, Muriel Robin voices Lulu the hairless guinea pig, The Soprano is Chip, the fearsome squirrel, and Denis Brogniart, attempting dubbing for the first time, is the voice of Lex Luthor.
David Kruger, Dwayne Johnson’s official voice actor, voices Krypto, Christophe Peyroux is Ace the Bat-Dog, and Adrien Antoine, the French voice actor for The Dark Knight in the video games and animated films, voices the character.

• What do they like: Krypto and the Super-Beasts is a true superhero movie. Directed by Jared Stern (screenwriter of LEGO Batman and LEGO Ninjago movies) and Sam Levine (screenwriter of The Farm Rebels), the feature film reveals Superman’s personal life.
From his hasty departure from the planet Krypton to his marriage proposal to journalist Lois Lane and his love of TV nights spent with his dog before cooking shows…
Filled with DC movie references, Krypto and the Super-Animals gives pride to pets and proves that even the greatest heroes need a friend to count on.

Crypto and Superman
Combining funny scenes, moving passages and action scenes worthy of a live-action film, the feature film makes young viewers experience a great moment without leaving the adults, especially thanks to the various winks.
A film in line with the successful animated film Beasts of Illumiation, but with super animals. A fun little nod to moviegoers, Kevin Hart voiced Snowball Dwarf Rabbit in Like Beasts and a double ace in Krypto and Superbeasts.
• What might be bothering them: However, a few scenes may disturb the youngest. During her superhero transformation, Lulu sets the pet store on fire, leaving her companions in the blaze.
On the other hand, during a memorable scene, the Super Animals had to pay Lulu to create a cute ginger kitten. Despite its appearance, the latter is a real weapon of war. If the scene amuses the adults, especially because of the sweet sound of the kitten actually trying to eliminate the characters, it may scare the younger ones.

Lulu
In a touching scene, Ace tells his story to Krypto. The latter was abandoned by his family when he was still a puppy. A touching scene that is sure to bring a few tears, but still reminds us that animals are not toys.
• What will they keep inside: I felt like I saw a great superhero movie with lovable, funny and charming characters who have all their flaws and fears but still manage to overcome them.
If the superdog Krypto already had the honor of a 2-season animated series in 2005, this is the first time that a motion picture is dedicated to him.
Superman’s animal has the same power as his master and the same weakness (Kryptonite), but when the latter loses his abilities, he turns to a group of abandoned animals that have recently acquired powers for help.
If until now Krypto hated Ace and his friends, he will gradually understand the importance of friendship and learn that we always need someone to share good and bad times with.
At first the dog, the hero of Metropolis, has an exclusive relationship with his master Superman and doesn’t realize that he is leaving him in favor of Lois. Throughout the film, Krypto gradually realizes that we can love each other without doing everything together. A lesson that speaks to children.

Real DC heroes
In the DC Universe, Krypto first appeared in issue #210Adventure comics (March 1955). Sent into space by Jor-El, Krypto arrives on Earth after Kal-El (the future Superman) and is then adopted by Superboy. In the animated film, Krypto arrives with a young Kal-El and grows up with him.
Ace, on the other hand, is a sarcastic dog who spent most of his life in a shelter. If he plays hard, the latter will gradually reveal himself and reveal his feelings. A bit like his future master, Batman.
First appeared in 1955 in comics Batman #92, Ace Bat-Hound is the canine partner of Batman and Robin and fights crime alongside them.
DC’s hero dogs now have a feature film.
