Ne-Yo’s wife files for divorce after 8 years of marriage due to his many infidelities

The wife of rapper Ne-Yo, whose popularity peaked in the late 2000s and early 2010s, announced on her blog that she had left her husband. It is noteworthy that the couple divorced in February 2020, but already in April they got married again – they held a celebration on the roof of the Resorts World Las Vegas casino. Later, the artist told reporters that their marriage was saved by the coronavirus pandemic and joint quarantine with children.

Now the cause of the gap was the numerous betrayals of the singer, which took place throughout their romance. Here is what Crystal Renay-Smith wrote in her post, consisting of a screenshot of a note on her phone:

Eight years of lies and deceit. Eight years when I unconsciously shared my life and husband with numerous women who sold their bodies to him in an unprotected way. To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement. Asking me to stay and accept this is absolute madness.

Ne-Yo and Krystal first got married in 2016 after two years of dating at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. A month after this event, the couple had a son, Shafer Jr., two years later, a son, Roman, and in June last year, the couple (already after the reunion) had a daughter, Isabella. He also has two children from previous relationships, 11-year-old Madeline and 10-year-old Mason.

Ne-Yo is a singer, songwriter, producer and songwriter for other stars, winner of three Grammy awards. In 2009, Billboard magazine ranked him #57 on their Artists of the Decade. His compositions have repeatedly occupied the first lines of such ratings as Billboard-200, Billboard Hot 100, UK Singles Chart and others.
