Actress Mary Sheila denounced an episode of racism in which she was stopped by a supermarket safety in Rio de Janeiro.

The 45 -year -old actress Mary Sheila, known for her work in the soap opera “All Flowers”, used social networks on Monday (6) to report an episode of racism that she suffered from Rio de Janeiro. According to her, the case occurred last Saturday (3), in the world supermarket, when it was the subject of suspicions by a shop safety.




Visibly shaken, Mary reported having decided to make the situation public by no longer supporting this type of situation. “We who have the skin more completely, the black skin, the security guard we think we have no money to pay our purchases. This is absurd,” said the actress on her Instagram stories.

Despite having received excuses from an employee of the SAC unit, Mary Sheila criticized the approach and stressed that respect should come first. “The citizen has the right to do his job, but he cannot embarrass the other. We must be educated,” he said.

He also said that the family tried to convince her not to expose the case, but decided to speak of the understanding of the importance of the complaint. “I’m not a mimty, right is right,” he said. In Indignation, Mary also announced that she does not intend to return to the supermarket: “I’m out! Everything very expensive for this embarrassment, seriously!”.
