The family blames the Indonesian government

The New York Times announced that Juliana Marins’ family said they had learned what happened through digital platforms and other tourists.

The sister and friend of the content creator pointed out that the Indonesian rescuers were not initially prepared and had insufficient equipment to reach it.

Star lovers also accused the Indonesian government of “falsifying a rescue video” and “reports that Marins had received food and water after 17 hours,” the newspaper says.

For his part, Brazilian President Lula da Silva spoke of Juliana’s death: “Our diplomatic and consular services in Indonesia will continue to provide all support to their family at this time.”
