The episode, as reported by Eliana, occurred about a year before her participation in the program “The masked singer Brazil”. At the time he already had the “right skirt”, but had to do with serious physical limits, even in the face of the requirement of activities such as dance and live presentation. “My shoulder blocked and the arm attacked my body. I couldn’t lift my arm,” he said.
The situation has gone unnoticed by many, despite having been noticed by the nearest people. “Nobody noticed it, nobody saw, but those who lived with me every day knew it,” said the host, who had to perform surgery just over a month before the debut on the new station program.
The diagnosis of freezing of the shoulders was understood only later, based on more recent studies. At the time, not even the doctor in office could immediately identify the link between the condition and the menopause. “He said to me: ‘I received people of your age in that way. We are studying the topic,” said Eliana, who underlined the importance of looking for information and helping to notice unusual symptoms during this period of life.
In fact, in addition to the limitation of the shoulder, Eliana has also reported other symptoms, such as changes in sleep, irritability and heat waves. “What has had the most was to sleep. I have already heard the effects: heat, irritation, interrupted sleep. Other symptoms that I started to have and I didn’t know they were menopause,” he explained.
The communicator also defended the need to expand the debate on the subject. “It is important to speak because, for a long time, I didn’t understand what menopause was. I didn’t know what I was feeling, what he lived,” he concluded.
