The presenter Edu Guedes was subjected to surgery last Saturday (5 July), in San Paolo, for the removal of a pancreas cancer. The procedure occurred at the Israelite Albert Einstein hospital and, as confirmed by the chef’s advice, the operation was successful.
The discovery of cancer was the result of a sequence of exams performed after a renal crisis. According to information from the Leodi of the portal, Guedes sought medical care after feeling badly and during complementary exams, the professionals identified a lump in the pancreas. The early diagnosis allowed the medical team to quickly conduct surgery.
So far, neither EDU Gudes nor Ana Hickmann, with which the presenter has maintained a report since January last year, have issued further details on the recovery. The couple officially officially made his commitment in June, while traveling to Portugal, and subsequently held a fair civil ceremony. They currently organize religious marriage, Ana has revealed in recent statements.
During a previous interview, Guedes commented on the challenges faced at the beginning of his career. “30, 40 years ago, being chef was an underestimated profession,” he said.
