Hosea Rosenberg, winner of the fifth season of “Top Chef”, talked about the hard illness suffering from Sophie’s 8 -year -old daughter.
The famous chef posted on Instagram on Thursday, July 24, an extensive message addressed in the subtle situation that the baby is going through the fruitful multicenter osteolysis.
“Compared to regular and healthy 8 -year -old children, she is not right. Her legs have not grown up for years (is the size of a young child),” she said.
“His hands start to look deformation and they are very weak. He has a problem climbing the stairs. He can’t ride a bike and need help to open things,” he added.

It was in April 2020, when Rosenberg publicly revealed that Sophie, then 3, had been diagnosed with carpotardian polycentric osteolysis, according to humans.
This rare condition characterized by the progressive loss and degeneration of the bones of the hands and feet, as well as by renal failure, according to the National Institute of Health.

Despite the complex state of health, Hosea Rosenberg shared that Sophie is being struggling.
“She does what she can, like her parents, has an infinite love and support and my heart fills every time I see her,” she said.
“She’s doing pretty good. She’s happy most of the time. She’s the most beautiful girl in the world. She has a lot of friends. She plays every day. Nothing very much. She lives a lot of adventures,” she’s open.
She points out that she loves school, “sometimes”, dances, laughs and that “she can still do a lot of things with her body”: “It’s better than many people and that’s why I’m eternal grateful.”
