The commemorative edition of the “Dance of the Famous” in 2025 celebrates the 20th anniversary of the traditional photo shown on Sunday afternoon on TV Globo. The official announcement of the participants took place last Sunday (August 3), during Domingão with Huck, and confirmed the presence of 16 celebrities, who will compete in a new group dynamics.
The current edition has maintained changes in the format. First, the participants were divided into four groups with four members each. Each group has its own choreography on specific dates and progressive eliminations occur at the end of the rounds. An important novelty is the automatic summary: the first eliminated in each group will have a second chance to return to the dispute later.
Another salient moment of the new edition is the presence of the Milton Cunha Carnival in the technical jury. With his direct and theatrical style, he joins the bench responsible for the weekly assessments of the presentations, expanding the artistic aspect of the program.
Among the confirmed participants are artists from various television areas, music, sports and the internet. Rodrigo Faro, a presenter known for programs such as Faro Hora and Will Dating, directs the list. The actress and presenter Cátia Fonseca, known for the best of the afternoon program, also integrates the cast. The former player Ricarlyson, now a sports commentator, returns to the spotlight, but this time away from the field.
In the group of actors and actresses there are Fernanda Paes Leme, Duda Santos, Silvero Pereira, David Junior and Allan Souza. Already in the music field, there are names such as Wanessa Camargo, Mc Livinho, Manu Bahtão and Luan Pereira. The list also includes Fitness Influencer Grayananne Barbosa, model and guest Nicole Bahls, veteran actress Tereza Seiblitz and digital influencer Álvaro.
The 16 participants were organized as follows: Group A is made up of Rodrigo Faro, Duda Santos, Silvero Pereira and Gracyanne Barbosa. Group B brings together David Junior, Nicole Bahls, Luan Pereira and Fernanda Paes Leme. Group C has Allan Souza, Cátia Fonseca, Ricarlyson and Manu Bahtão. Finally, group D has Mc Livinho, Waess Camargo, Álvaro and Tereza Seiblitz.
The dynamics of the competition follow until only the finalists remain. Over the weeks the technical criteria, the artistic performance and the evolution of the participants will be assessed, which promises to further intensify the dispute to celebrate the two decades of the program.
