Singer Lucas Lima moved the audience with a heartfelt birthday post and received a special tribute from Sandy, his ex-wife

Lucas Lima will turn 43 this Saturday, October 11th. Sandy’s ex-husband, the singer of the band Família Lima, received many tributes on this special date, including that of Xororó’s daughter, mother of Theo, his only child.

To celebrate his special day, Lucas Lima posted a beach photo that highlights his new tattoo. In the caption, the heartthrob reflects on how much his life has changed over the past year, specifically his goal of improving his self-esteem, which wasn’t easy, but ultimately served as self-knowledge.

“I’ve had some major changes this year. Nothing major, but they gave me a nice boost… hearing a friend say ‘you don’t make me feel bad about the feeling’ was one of them. What an incredible compliment… and strong. I looked for self-esteem through aesthetics and saw that it was tri, but it was empty calories. Then I went back to 100% but soon realized that it nourishes even more, but we are not an island. The same friend told me: ‘we are also a little’ of others,'” he mused.

And Lucas Lima continued: “And then I understood that true self-esteem is a complex puzzle that we always put together, it never ends. And that it is not a destiny, it is not linear just like happiness or sadness, it has ups and downs and we must learn to feel comfortable in this flow.
