Part of the ashes of the singer Black Gil It was placed in a bust installed in the Cemeter of Columbário do Cremory and Penitência, in the Caju district, in Rio de Janeiro. The tribute was installed in the same place where it was cremated on July 25th.

The bust was placed in a glass niche, together with a lipstick and cards written by friends and family. According to Chris Dalla Chiara, CEO of RVF América, head of the company, the personalized ballot boxes were produced in record time. “We stopped all the production to satisfy this request,” said Chris.

During the cremation ceremony, held after the funeral at the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, names such as Bela Gil, Carolina Dieckmann, Regina Casé, Juliana Alves, Lore Improta, Clara Buarque and Sol de Maria, grandson of the singer, left the messages of revolt.

Preta Gil’s body was taken in procession by Avenida President Vargas, with an open participation in the public. The farewell of the crematorium was limited to the family and close people.

The singer died at the age of 50, after dealing with the gangrum to the intestine diagnosed in January 2023. He was in New York, where he was care when the picture worsened.
