Ivan will be arrested after the frame of Odete to Vale Tudo

The new phase of Vale Tudo’s remake, transmitted by Globo at 21:00, marks a drastic reversal of trend in the trajectory of Ivan, played by Renato Gós. The executive, who had balanced between personal dilemmas and professional pressures, will finally be arrested after falling into a plan articulated by Odete Roitman, lived by Debora Bloch. The sequence, inspired by the original version of the soap opera transmitted between 1988 and 1989, will be preserved in the adaptation written by Manuela Dias.

Odete, TCA of Ivan and Suocera controller, uses influence on the son -in -law to engage in a corruption scheme. The bad guy orders the executive to corrupt an IRS official in order to release with retained products, while collecting evidence against him to be used in a future blackmail. Initially, the business woman tries to break Ivan’s appointments with Raquel, Taís Araujo’s character, asking for the end of his daughter, Heleninha (Patolla Oliveira).

When Rachel refuses to surrender to the pressure, Odete changes strategy and uses corruption tests to threaten it. For fear that Ivan is arrested, the cook ends the relationship, without revealing the real reason for the break. The measure, however, does not prevent the bad guy from carrying out his plan.

The incriminating content remains under the possession of Odete at the final moments of the plot. During this period, Maria de Fátima (Bella Campos) tries to recover the material to prevent Ivan from being condemned, but his movement arouses suspicions and is seen as much as possible in the death of the antagonist. In the middle of the impasse, Rachel decides to surrender to the police, taking on the paternity of the crime to protect his daughter and also hide the illegal past of Ivan.

After learning what Rachel is willing to do for him, Ivan decides to surrender. In the testimony, he reveals the details of the crime and assumes responsibility for active corruption. As a result, it is the only character in the soap opera to be sentenced and sent to prison.
