Vale Everything: meets Sumara, key piece of Odete’s Secret

The remake of Vale Tudo, which celebrates the 60th anniversary of Globo, prepares a significant turning point for the end of August. The plot of Manuela Dias, directed by Paulo Silvestrini, will receive the entry of Sumara, a character of the conservative aspect, but the attitudes that break the expectations. His first appearance will be in the place where Odete Roitman will keep the greatest secret of the novel hidden: his son Leonardo, held out of the scene for 13 years.

The new figure will act on the humble case in which Leonardo and Ana Clara live. Arriving with a book for notary in his hands, Sumara will be responsible for the formalization of the marriage between the two. The act, however, will not be moved by romanticism, but from the strategy, at the request of the caregiver who, as is known, tries to take advantage of the situation.

Ana Clara will guide the entire process with coldness. You will put your signature and you will use Leonardo’s digital – unaware of what is happening – to validate the certificate. The episode will also have the delivery of an envelope of money to Sumara, highlighting the expected nature of the action.

“We are married, see? It is my treasure, the doctor Sumara. In any case, the important thing is that we come true our dream, right?” Ana Clara says during the meeting.

The marriage will have a clear goal: act as a weapon of blackmail against Odete. After learning that Ana Clara approached Heleninha at AA’s meetings, the business woman will go to the indignant shack. There, he will listen to direct provocations on the new family connection.

“It turns out that your family is also my family. I married Leonardo, a little one”, the caregiver will disappear before explaining the reason for the provocation. “My husband is entitled to a third of everything, he gives Odete. I have the wedding certificate.”

As required by the production, these scenes are broadcast on Thursday (28 August), at 21h20 (Brasilia time). Sumara’s participation will be short, but essential for the narrative turning point.

Therefore, the introduction of the character promises not only to move the story, but also to expand the central conflict of the plot. After all, the revelation of Leonardo’s existence and the officer of his marriage to Ana Clara can change the course of the disputes of power to Vale Tudo.
